Wear your responsibility. These 3-layer hybrid pants meet strict sustainability criteria when it comes to material selection, production and service life. It offers full protection from rain and wind during a wide variety of outdoor activities. The casual cut is optimized for wearing with layers – the pants are long enough to cover your clothing at the at the waist and leg cuffs. Expansion pleats above the knees made from stretchy Econyl® recycled polyamide ensure good freedom of movement. The abrasion-resistant and robust primary material at the front and at the back of the thigh is made of EcoPaXX®. This is a synthetic fiber, 70 % of which is produced from castor oil, a renewable raw material. EcoPaXX® can also be processed into injection moulded plastic components. We have used it for all zips and the belt buckle. Our waterproof and windproof Ceplex Green membrane is also exceptionally eco friendly. It is completely PFC-free; we also use up to 25 % recycled or biobased materials in the membrane production. The protective membrane backing is a laminate made of S-Cafe® material. This innovative material is made from recycled coffee grounds and feels comfortably dry. We use Durable Organic Cotton at the calves. This is a tightly woven, particularly robust and highly breathable cotton fabric made of GOTS-certified organic cotton. When it gets wet, the threads swell slightly and form a natural barrier to rain. The exterior is finished with PFC-free Eco Finish waterproofing.
