On solid ground when it comes to environmental protection. These high quality leather boots were developed for all kinds of outdoor activities in cold weather. The consistent use of sustainable materials is what makes them so impressive. The exterior features oiled nubuck leather from Heinen for natural protection from the weather. The certified Terracare® leather comes from Germany and features eco-friendly tanning and processing. The inner lining is also made of leather; with chrome-free tanning, the lining is exceptionally comfortable and ensures a good microclimate for your feet. An insulation layer made of the innovative fiber PrimaLoft® Silver Insulation Natural Blend keeps your feet warm. This fiber is made of 30 % kapok and 70 % polyester, of which two thirds comes from recycled PET bottles. The seed pods of the kapok tree contain a lightweight, silky fiber that resembles a cotton bloom and is also known as plant down. It is a renewable resource that offers exceptional thermal retention while ensuring that moisture is transported outward. The boot collar is also in a class of its own. It's made of QMilk, which combines fibers sourced from milk with wool to create felt. Q-Milk fiber processing endows the felt with a soft texture and antibacterial properties in direct contact with the skin. A high-traction profile sole gives the boots secure footing and high level of walking comfort. Here, too, we have minimized the use of raw resources by using 30 % recycled rubber to produce the soles. The boots pair well with the other products of the VAUDE Green Shape Core Collection. #ecofair #multiuse #unique
