Processing of personal data of visitors and users

The D-Center headquarters are located at Grotestraat 58, 3600 Genk.

D-Center only uses cookies with a low risk for the network user concerned for which, according to the Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005 (WEC), no permission from the network user is required. More detailed information about the type of cookies can be found below.

Personal data that the user communicates when reporting a data processing, a complaint or requests for information or advice, are only processed by D-Center in order to be able to meet the user's request and to fulfil the tasks entrusted to it by the Act of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy and the implementing decree of 13 February 2001. The personal data of users are under no circumstances processed for commercial purposes.

Personal data will only be passed on to the staff that handles the requests. This data may be passed on to persons outside D-Center when this proves necessary for the handling of the user's request.

If the user refuses to provide certain essential data, D-Center may not be able to process the request.

Any person whose data is processed may consult his personal data, have them corrected or, if he has good reasons for doing so, have them deleted. To this end, he sends a letter with a copy of his identity card to the above-mentioned address.

Use of cookies

As required by article 129, 1° of the Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005, D-Center wishes to inform visitors to its websites about the use of cookies. Cookies are small text files that are placed on the hard drive of the computer of website visitors. They contain information such as the language preference of the surfer, so that he does not have to enter that information again on a subsequent visit to the same website. Some cookies ensure that a website appears graphically neat, others that a website application works correctly. • More information: A has_js cookie tests the browser environment to see if the browser supports a certain feature.

• Purpose: To track visitor's language selection

• Legal status according to WEC: as a user interface customisation cookie (i.e. a cookie that keeps track of the user's preference for a function, but is not linked to any elements allowing identification such as a username), this cookie is exempt from the requirement for consent under Article 129 of the WEC. 3. Drupal session cookie

• Name: SESS..
• Purpose: Keep session ID until end of session.
• More information: Session cookies are used to store status information during a particular session. These cookies are only stored in the cache while a user is visiting the web server issuing the session cookie and are deleted from the cache when the session is closed. This is an important session cookie, which is deleted when the browser is closed. If this cookie is not used, transactions cannot be performed correctly/reliably.

4. Scalable Inman Flash Replacement cookie

• Name: sifrFetch
• Purpose: The cookie is used to enable the correct display of certain areas of the website. It does not collect any personally identifiable information and is essential to the functioning of the site so it cannot be turned off.
• More information: The sifrFetch cookie is a session cookie that is deleted when the session is closed.

• Purpose: This cookie is used to ensure that two different requests from the same user are linked.
• More information: essential session cookies that are deleted when the browser is closed. Without these cookies, no request will be valid and the user will be blocked every time.

6. Load balancer

• Name: Elgpersist
• Purpose: This cookie is used to ensure that a user always ends up on the same backend server during a transaction, where the application session is known.

7. Application firewall

• Purpose: Cookies used to sign and secure transactions with our server. The TS cookies check that other domain cookies do not change during the transaction and check the referrer object.
