Scubapro Mantis computer

The Mantis 1.0 has four modes, a normal dive mode, a freedive mode, a bottom timer mode and a mode for use with a rebreather. In addition, the computer has a special swimming mode that accurately records every swimming movement. It is of course possible to dive with enriched air with a maximum of 100% oxygen. In addition, you can switch between 3 different gases during the dive.

What makes the Mantis really special is the algorithm that is used. Scubapro was the first to build in PDIS here, which means that the computer determines various stops at depth based on the profile and the nitrogen built up in the diver. This extends the bottom time and allows you to stay at depth for a longer period of time as a diver. Furthermore, an optional heart rate monitor is available which measures heart rate and skin temperature and includes this data in the decompression calculation.

What is also striking about the computer is the beautiful design. The computer can be perfectly worn as a watch in everyday life. The display is finished with mineral glass and is therefore scratch-resistant. Of course, the mantis has all the watch functions you could need above water. The screen is also excellent to read due to the clear signs and symbols.

The CR2032 battery is easy to replace yourself and lasts about 300 dives or 2 years. With the optional logTRACK holder the dives can be transferred to a desktop PC or laptop.
